What's new March 2025 Sylvia has passed away since the previous update. More information has been added on the O. apifera, P.bifolia, P. chlorantha and H. radiata pages. Faulty links have been corrected and signatures added to prevent my photos from being used without permission. What's new November 2019 More photographs of terrestrials added.

As many of the visitors to this website are from other countries it was decided to alter the scope of the website to include Bill's photographs of terrestrial and tropical orchids with their cultivars and hybrids. This part of the website will be developed and expanded for some time to come.
Sylvia paints stylized orchidaceous landscapes. These will be permanent residents of the site, and will increase in number.
This web site has been designed for High colour mode (16 bit) at a resolution of 1024 x 768. Internet Explorer 8 was used as the browser. Use of other resolutions may affect the alignment of thumbnails and test.
